Handmade in Austria

Every bag is entirely hand built by Simon Peter Maghanoy Wilson, here in Graz, Austria. We are sourcing the highest quality materials we can find from the region while melding classic quality to create the perfect all around weatherproof backpack.

Simple, Classic & Built to Last

Drawing from classic inspirations while mixing tried & proven materials with new higher durability & lighter weight fabrics, we've created a bag that is as useful as it is beautiful.

Strong metal hardware & Chicago screws insures long lasting connections & the possibility for easy replacement of parts. Soft 100% wool felt adds a natural padding that is highly odor resistant & durable. Top grain, natural vegetable tanned leather will develop a gorgeous character & will only look better with age.

We don’t have zippers on our bags as they are so often prone to failure. Highly abrasion resistant 1000D Cordura nylon on the outside & rip-stop Nylon on the inside with a 3rd layer of Tyvek in between, gives you a very long lasting weatherproof companion.

Large side pockets allow for lots of carry space & are part of a built in system that allows for adjusting bag size from 7L up to 40L

Using an adjustable pedal strap buckle we can quickly adjust our leather straps to allow for a very strong versatile rolltop.

Three bags in one

Small enough for your daily commute to school or to the office, but also big enough to fit a whole weeks worth of shopping from the local market.

Our Misson

I hate forced obsolescence and our throwaway society that seems to be so much about instant gratification and short term gain to the detriment of future generations. That’s why I want to create products that foster that spirit of adventure, that you can grow up with and that will stay by your side for a lifetime.

Our workshop is situated in an old basement that I refurbished with the old paint still on the walls from the 50’s in a 100+ year old building working on an old Swiss Bernina sewing machine, using techniques that have been around since forever.

I try to source as many local high quality materials as possible to create a product and brand that is far more focused on guaranteeing quality than being purely profit driven. I refuse to cut corners and I believe the results are something unique and wonderful and I hope our bags and gear will be part of your journey for many, many years to come.
